My Yoga philosophy
Yoga has a natural way of going beyond physical practice and affecting all aspects of our lives. When we practice Yoga we start listening to what’s going on in our bodies and in our minds, we tune in to the energy of the place and the people around us; we get closer to a realization of our own uniqueness but also oneness of everything.
Yoga is a path of self-discovery, it teaches us to be more conscious of our feelings, thoughts and actions, it gives us tools to live more balanced, peaceful and fulfilled life. It is a constant source of knowledge, equanimity and joy, it is a way to bring vitality and alignment into the body.
My Yoga style
My exploration of Yoga has started 12 years ago. At that time I have deeply immersed myself in exploring traditional teachings of Ashtanga Yoga and Hatha Yoga, but my practice has gone through a great deal of transformation since then.
I have completed my 200-hour RYTT at Bender’s Yoga in London, Ontario. That experience has offered me a great opportunity to learn about recent researches on human body biomechanics, which now help me create a safe practice for myself and for my students.
I offer classes with an individual approach, where each pose could be modified and transformed in order to be more accessible for each practitioner. When poses and movements are more natural and aligned we move at ease and it allows us to explore and honour the beautiful complexity of our bodies as well as the inconceivable vastness of our minds.
In my classes we would move through a flow of physical asana, complimenting it with self-massage, meditation, breathing practices and mindfulness exercises.
My classes are suitable for students of all levels.
